Exercising is essential in any healthy lifestyle and in all seasons. Winter is a season that might have negative impact on the body, as well as causing psychological and mood changes. Hence, exercise and physical activity are required to relieve these symptoms, skiing is one of these sports tha are beneficial to the body.

Increases Fitness:

Doctors stress that skiing has many benefits. A recent study has shown that the average person, who skis randomly and routinely for 30 minutes, burns of 285 calories, while professional skier burns about 450 calories in 30 minutes. In addition, skiing strengthens muscles; especially leg muscles and develops balance, skiing also increases fitness and promotes the self-confidence of the person.

Skiing Tools:

Skiing requires skateboarding, with iron bars, another type is the ski ballet or free style skiing that is one of the main competitions at the Winter Olympics.
