The Benefits of Basketball

Basketball is a popular sport where two teams each with five players try to shoot the ball in the basket, to score goals and gain points. Over time, basketball has developed to include common techniques of ball correction, passing and dodging, as well as players’ positions, defensive and offensive plans as well.

Benefits of Basketball Sport:

– Burning calories are one of the top benefits where running, jumping, and fast movements are the basics that everyone depends on to play basketball. These factors help to burn calories thus; exercise for only one hour can burn up between 600 to 900 calories.

Strengthen the heart: It helps in the heart and blood vessels ability to endure fatigue, and tiredness depending on how one is playing.

Bone strengthening: It contributes to the formation of new tissues in the bone areas, which increases the strength of bones and its density, so as to protect them from fractures.

Focus and control: It helps everyone to focus, and to have self-control in the playing yard, because the game imposes a set of rules that must be followed by players.
