Eating foods that contain high levels of magnesium, such as green vegetables, fruits, whole grains, cereals, legumes, nuts, spinach, peanut butter, avocado, potatoes are very helpful.
Tips for improving magnesium absorption
Eating food high in magnesium is important but we have to know some tips for better magnesium absorption:
* Reduce or avoid calcium-rich foods two hours before or after eating magnesium-rich foods
* Avoid high-dose zinc supplements
* Treat vitamin D deficiency
* Eat raw vegetables instead of cooking them
