Maintain The Healthy Lifestyle After Ramadan

Fasting during Ramadan and eating a healthy diet improves our health. After Ramadan most of us go back to overeating and especially those who stop exercise during Ramadan, it is hard for them to start going back to the gym.

Here are some tips to maintain the healthy habits of Ramadan that we should all follow and make it our lifestyle.

– Healthy Breakfast

Breakfast is an important meal to renew the body energy, so make sure to have a healthy breakfast including protein, fruits and vegetables, yet a light one.

– Water

During the day drink lots of water; at least 1.5 liter daily. It is very helpful in hydration and digestion.

– Exercise

Dedicate 30-45 minutes every day for exercise; even walking is recommended. It helps the body to burn more fats and also prevents from indigestion.

-Fixed Time for Meals

Try to have your meals nearly in the same time every day; it helps your body metabolism.

-Yogurt Every Night

Continue with the habit of having yogurt every night same as you used in Suhour. Yogurt contains protein, calcium, vitamin B-2, vitamin B-12, potassium, and magnesium.

-Dinner

To avoid indigestion at night, have your dinner at least 2 hours before going to bed.

-Fruits and Vegetables

During the day, make sure to include vegetables and fruits in your diet as a snack or with meals as a salad.
