Healthy Delicious Lunch for Work

Do you spend long hours in office? At lunchtime you buy a meal from outside and most of the time it is fast food! You look for healthy choices, yet not available at all times!

Today we will give you simple yet healthy nutritious and delicious lunch ideas for work.

Cold Salads:

Greek Chicken Pasta Salad:

Mix boiled pasta with well done grilled chicken breast, cut into small cubes, slices of green pepper, yellow pepper, red pepper, broccoli, carrots, cauliflower with cubes of feta cheese, season with salt and pepper and drops of fresh lemon juice.

Quinoa and Vegetables Salad

Cook quinoa same way as rice, leave it to cool, then add cubes of cucumber, carrots, celery, sweet corn, peppers and marinate with mustard, vinegar, salt and pepper.

Sandwiches and Wraps:

Chicken and Lettuce Wraps

Cut small cubes of chicken breast, marinate to taste and cook with one tbsp oil. Leave to cool then add shredded carrots, green peppers, limejuice, soy sauce, sprinkle sesame seeds and pour into lettuce leaves.

Fajita Wraps

Cook thin slices of beef in oil, add onions, red, yellow and green peppers season to taste and wrap in tortilla or flat bread.

Hot meals consisting of chicken/ beef or fish with rice and different salads are also good options for some days.

Vegetable Creamy Soups such as pumpkin, chicken cream, oat or mushroom soups are favoured by many people.
