Cool Natural Fabrics
Al Ammari said that the best fabric for summer Abaya is the cool natural fabrics extracted from trees such as linen, viscose, cotton, and tri-state.
The Favored Maroon color
Al Ammari added that the favorite colors range from gray, beige and white, adding to them maroon this summer. Designers are favor plain fabrics, and each designer adds his own unique touch on Abaya; either using of crystal, embroidery or colorful fabrics.
Day and Evening Fabrics
Al Ammari, noted that summer Abaya is distinguished by having the same color for both Abaya and scarf. In addition day fabrics are different from the evening ones. Linen and viscose fabrics are suitable for the day time as they are comfortable and practical, while silk and crepe are the most appropriate for evening occasions.
