The heat of summer would affect your skin, change its quality by taking away skin’s natural radiance, leaving it oily, dull, and blemished.
What should we do to hold on to that radiant and healthy skin?
Drink Plenty of Water
First thing in skin and health care is to drink water. Water is the most important ingredient in healthy skin tissue. It keeps your skin soft, and radiant. Drink about 2-3 litres in a day.
Change Your Face Wash
In summers, you would use a face wash that can draw out the excess oil from your skin. Wash your face plenty of times during the day to keep your skin clean and refreshed.
Keep Your Skin Hydrated
Use a good hydrating mask which a couple of times a week. Wash your face first and apply the mask. It can treat skin conditions like dryness, acne, oil, etc.
Wear Sunscreen
Choose one that has a broad ultraviolet spectrum (between 30-50 SPF and covers UVA and UVB rays). Reapply every three hours if you are spending all day in the sun.
Cut Down on Makeup
Wear minimal makeup to allow the skin to breathe better. Use a tinted moisturizer, lip balm, and organic kajal in summer to give your skin some rest.
Use a Refreshing Toner
Using a good toner can help you close open pores to prevent oil accumulation in the open pores. Use a cucumber or aloe Vera based toner which is light and refreshing.
