Victoria and Albert Museum Chose Al Bishri Design

Victoria and Albert Museum (VAM) in London chose a design by Saudi fashion designer Yahya Al Bishri to add to the collection of 4.5 million pieces. The selected piece was among his last collection (Back to the Roots), which he dedicated to highlight the Saudi heritage in all regions with its style, paints and colors.
In this regard, Al Bishri explained that the piece he chose was designed in white and red cloth, and included the Saudi Shemagh, aiming to transform the Saudi thobe into an international new one.
Yahya Al Bishri is one of the most famous Saudi fashion designers and the first Saudi to participate in the World Fashion Week in Paris. His designs are characterized by a blend of Eastern and Western themes. He also held many fashion shows in international capitals.
