Well known for designing Jallabiya and Abaya, Abeer Asqoul, studied the art of design following her university studies.
About Jallabiya
To Asqoul, Jallabiya is no longer just a heritage; it has advanced and mixed with fashion in fabrics and designs. Silk, chiffon, satin, and sometimes jacquard fabrics, in addition to cotton are used with pearl and crystal embroidery and accessories for a look of more feminine and beauty.
2018 Ramadan
Asqoul designs for this Ramadan, are all handmade, thus each Jallabiya is a single piece. “We like to wear Jallabiya in Ramadan nights, visits and sometimes at work, hence fabrics are soft since it is summer time.
This collection is distinguished as being comfortable and loose, taking into account the diversity of materials and models to match all ages and sizes”. Asqoul said
This year’s collection is modern Jallabiya that combines the charm and elegance of oriental line with the fabrics and accessories of western line with special cuts, sizes and sleeves to match each woman identity that is reflected in her costume with her choice of model, fabric and occasion.

Abaya has changed in its colors, with added embroidery and crystal stones and sometimes overlapping of several colors. The black Abaya is no longer as it used to be, however it is still preserving its main objective of cover-up and decency
